D&J Bistro's Ahi Poke
D&J Bistro's Ahi Poke
Ingredients:

  • 2 lg sashimi-grade ahi tuna steaks (1.5 lbs)
  • 1/2 c seaweed salad, chopped
  • 1/2 c green onion, chopped
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp shichimi togarashi (Japanese dry chili pepper mix)
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Preparation:
Pat the ahi dry, then cut it into small, 1/2-inch cubes. Place in a bowl. Add seaweed salad, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, shichimi togarashi, seasme oil and sesame seeds. Gently toss. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate. Use sliced avocado as garnish.
